千里之行始于足下

When I’m about to embark on a new adventure, I have a tradition of making a significant purchase of a personal wearable item to mark the start of a new chapter.

My latest acquisition was a pair of shoes that have become my trusty companions for the last 1.5 years. They symbolise a leap of faith that I took, to embark on a new professional journey and are a constant reminder to me of the saying “千里之行始于足下”. Indeed, the journey of a thousand miles always begins with a single step. I am so glad that I took that first step, and I hope the shoes continue to take me on fun adventures!
